I know this question is way way to early but I need to know before I continue doing my home work on these two breeds to make sure they will be able to live together happily.
My hubby wants a Mastiff and I want a Bordeaux both male. Would these two males get along o.k, not planning on fixing them unless I have to? Or would a Mastiff and a Great Dane get along better? The Mastiff is definate the number one choice and the Bordeaux and the Great Dane are choice number two. See I'm the reason we have 5 dogs not my hubby, and well he wants his pic this time so I have to figure out which breed will get on with the Mastiff, better compatible any how. I know we have a long time before we get a nother dog but I would just like to narrow it down and was thinking well what happens if I do all this research and talk to breeders to find out in the long run I should of went for the Dane. I really like both those breeds. I know it was the Alapaha but after alot of reaserch he just wasn't the breed for us. I really like the Bordeax but out of the two (Bordeaux/Dane) which is better suited as males to live with a Mastiff male?
Sorry if I sound

Thinking hubby may want his puppy sooner when Taz passes on (he will be 10 October 11) as he said he will really miss having his big dog (even though Taz was my x-mas present from my mom, hubby took over when Taz was 6 months he was his dog to walk :() I originally wanted to get both dogs together as puppies..I know alot of people advise not to but we are planning on going to puppy class, obedience class ect, and I'm not a novice owner either so thats a good sign. I think I'm just getting all into a knott cause I know Taz isn't getting any younger (to bad time didn't go back wards would love to have him as a puppy again), Just know that 10 years is old for him and his hips and arthritis are not getting any better :(. Sorry babbling here, should go any help would be appreciated :)
ttfn :)
