Have a look at the post below posted by filbert "URGENT help/advice reqd-" the same thing happened to her dog:(
i can only recommend watching that she is pooing o.k ,hoping there is'nt an obstruction which would cause her not to poop.

Oh dear - can empathise completely!!
Well firstly dont panic... but keep an eye on him/her... i was advised to feed dry bread - minus the crusts to catch any splintered bones - dont know if it worked but she would only eat a slice and 1/2 and was fine... pooping was fine the next day... obviously if your dog starts to vomit and looks really ill and lethagic - go straight to vets - i dont mean a little bit sick I mean really ill... and obviously if trouble breathing...
Dont worry - this happens i guess to make us panic and worry!! But we live and learn.
