
You can only go by his appetite and his body condition. If he is gettingfat (no waist and ribs hard to feel) then he is getting too much, if he is ribgby and his pelvic bones are too prominent then he is getting too little.
The amount you say sounds quite a lot to me, and I wou7ld expect a puppy of that size to not need more than 3 ounces of dry food a day. That is without any wet food. Obviously if giving a complete wet food as well then amounts need to be adjusted.
My own breed weigh in at 20kg as adults. A 3 month old puppy would be on about 10ounces of complete only. That would equal about 1 1/2 cans of a complete tinned food. Once adult they are on 7 or 8 ounces.
The pups breeder is your best source of information, as being used to pups of their breed they should have a good idea of the range of amount appropriate.
