My 7mth GSP bitch has done about 4 wees on the carpet over the last 24hrs which is something she hasn't done for about 2months and I can't work out why? Did I read here somewhere that they can go back a few steps with housetraining if their first season is about to start? At her age it could be about to happen couldn't it. Any info would be appreciated.

This happened with my 7 mth old too - as it happened he came down with kennel cough a few days later, so probably his little accidents were a result of this as he's not done it since. Maybe you pups feeling a little under the weather?

She might have a urinary track infection. Or, she might be about to come into season. If she is licking more than usual and marking more than usual when she is out for a walk it could be the cause of her breaking housetraining.
