Anyone with a knowledge of this programme I need help with one or two things. Thanks.
I used to use Front Page 98 - is that likely to be any help?

Might well be Christine, I will e-mail you, don't think we will be too popular if we try to sort me out on here. Thanks.
Hi Jackie
Do you have an alternative email address - AOL blocking my emails to you

Hi, no I don't, but will set one up if I can, aol is my ISP, can I set up another e-mail or would I need to have another ISP. Will have words with AOL see what they have to say.
Thanks for trying, it is very irritating to know that you may be able to help me, if we could only just talk.

I could try and help. I've used Frontpage just a little. Feel free to email me on slmiddleton@blueyonder.co.uk if you want.

What exactly do you want to know?

When I use a thumbnail for a Photo. if you click that thumbnail the resulting full size photo is against the left side of the screen and looks somewhat unattractive and not as if it belongs to the rest of the site. Want to know if I can centre the photo and make it look a bit more interesting.
There are other things but don't want to get the thread locked because it is not an item of interest to the general readership ;)
Hi Jackie
The thread can always be moved to idle chat then deleted if Admin wishes :)
Q.1. Never thought about this before but every site I can think of has
thumbnails either lining to just a single photo on a page in the top LH
corner OR links to a page with details of the dog. Does FP create these
pages automatically? If so you may need to over-ride as follows
Make sure something like this is around your thumbnail in html
~~~~
<a href="http://www.mypage.me.uk/dog1.htm"> <img src="hound.gif"
width="150" height="150" border="0"></a>
~~~~~
then set up your http://www.mypage.me.uk/dog1.htm (target page) page
to look like the other pages in your web site, including positioning the
photo in the middle if you wish and with any writing, pedigree etc
~~
<div align="center"> <img src="dog1.gif" ><div>
~~
Q.2. You need a pdf writer to do this with any degree of accuracy. Adobe
is a reader and is free but their writer is somewhat expensive. Do a search in Google for "free pdf writer"
about 8 or so pages come up. I use
one called Jaws although I could not see it on the list
Hope this helps a bt and that I understood your questions correctly (I think
they relate to any web page creation and not just FP. If you think I can be
of more help then please do not hesitate to ask and I will do my best to
confuse you even more :-) :D

Now why the hell did I not think of that, yes it is automatic. Have just thought wonder if I can open the target page, if I can it will stop me having to dabble with HTML, which concerns me as up to now have only used it to change colour or text. Thanks for your reply will go and have a go.
Thought that is what was needed will go have a search for one, can't afford to buy any more Adobe programmes, still in hock from Photoshop and Premier
