Hi,

Ollie (my Golden Retriever puppy - 16 wks old) was sick a few weeks ago - disgusting because he gobbled it up as quickly as he could and almost made me sick into the bargain! Anyway I thought he must have eaten something funny - he eats everything he can get his teeth on - so I didn't think anything of it.

Then yesterday he was sick again (and ate it again) but seemed ok in himself. Anyway this morning I came down to find about 4 puddles of clear mucus like stuff on the floor - I don't know what end it came from!

He seemed absolutely fine again, bouncing around and seemed happy. But he has been sick again tonight so I'm wondering if there is something I need to be concerned about.

He was fed Royal Canin Maxi Junior up until about a week ago when I started adding a bit of Chappie to it (on vet's advice) as he seemed a bit off his dry food which may be down to the fact he is teething...?

I've had a look on the forum for puppy sickness and have seen a bit about Parvo. Not sure what this is but if it has something to do with worming he had his last worming a few weeks ago.

His poos seem normal - not diarrohea like.

Should I be worried or is this normal?

Thank you.

Don't think you have a problem but if you are concerened call the vet, that is what they are there for.

My puppies sometimes bring back water when they drink too much too fast. It looks watery with a little colourless froth? If he's happy and lively and tummy normal and eating well I really wouldn't worry.

It did look watery with some froth so maybe that was it. Just suprised me to see so many puddles of it! He's certainly happy and lively - currently going nuts with a flowerpot round the lounge with his nose right in it!

Thanks for the comments. They've put my mind at ease!

Sarah.
