Hi yal
our bitch growles at us when she is eating and although she allows us totouch her she continues to growl! she's never snapped! but we would like to stop this behaviour anysuggestions?
all help appreciated! (sorry i can't spell for peanuts!)

Try putting a very small amount of food into her bowl, then when she has eaten it pick the bowl up and put another small amount in carry on like that for a few days (3). Then put the same small amount in the bowl but add a hand full as she is eating, until the full amount is added, do this for a few days (5) then try lifting the bowl to add extra food just before she has finished. You will have to decide how quick to advance but I hope you get the idea. Never scold or punish try to increase her trust of you.
