What would everyone recommend as a good treat. I currently use either gravy bones or those coloured chewsitcks (not multicoloured but just the brown ones) are these ok?? or is there anything better I should be giving them?

Hi there,
I make my own liver cake and if I've got any left over bits of veggies or carrot peeling, I mix those in with it!
Murph also likes hot dog sausages and occassionally cheese.

does anyone know where i can get the recipe for liver cake?
my girls like cheese, dried liver, sausage, roast chicken, i recently gave them lamb ribs and they absolutely love them, do you have a kong you can stuff them with just about anything.

Hi, yes bought a kong yesterday, I fing that smaller treats fall out a bit to easily to keep the dogs attention, but gravy bones seem to stay in a bit longer :) This liver cake sounds interesting, havent tried cheese with them yet though, any particular kind? something not too rich Id imagine.

Any "MILD" plain cheese will do,but not toooo much as it tends to constipate the poor little munchkins. i also feed cottage cheese and ricotta.
