One of my dogs has a really bad wind problem and the smell is getting unbearable, I have changed his feed from JWB to Autarky to see if this helps but its made no difference. Anyone know any solutions to this as its becoming embarassing especially when out or we have company.

Hi,
You think youve got problems, get a Bulldog then believe me you might need a gas mask !! :)
Seriously, try bio yoghurt, does help a bit and dogs love it, about a large spoonful everyday,
Sam

Or a Retriever!!

In my experience any dogs on hard food always has bad wind. Both my friends dogs have really bad wind (one of them gets up and goes to the kitchen when ever she leaves a bad smell!!) and they are both on hard food as is a friends Collie.
My dog has always been on meat and mixer and she has never left a pong! My puppy Retriever did plenty but I have just started mixing meat with his beta puppy and he seems alot better. (I have had to mix meat as my GSD's dinner smelt far better than his and it was causing loads of problems at dinner time!)

There is probably no scientific proof of this what so ever but thats my theory on it and if it works Ill stick to it!

Would agree with the bio yoghurt, plain is best but when I eat the muller vitality rasberry my lot love to get the pot to lick out. A spoon in their dinner or just as a treat, mine love to lick straight off the spoon.

I know I just luurve the Muller too, but it isn't live yoghurt which is what you need for windy pops :-)

The muller vitality is the live probiotic version - the one with the live bacteira.
Not that I am advocating the rasberry version for windy pops, save that for yourselves and buy the dogs the cheap natural live stuff
