Our bitch delivered the last pup 2 hours ago. I know there is yet another and
she has had a few contractions, expelled a bit of flood/fluid after a
bit of a walk. Sure if I head out to the doc this one will arrive in car!
Welcome any advice.

If she has contractions and no sign of the puppy in anhour then get to the vet quick, as pup may die, as travelling down birh canal will no longer be attached to the uterine wall and getting oxygen.

Pups can be born many hours from previous one if there are no expelling contractions then it isn't a problem, unless the bitch is obviously exhausted when a shot of Oxytocin will speed things along.

My nearoly four year old bitch had her first litter last week, and was very slow delivering her pups, taking 6 hours to deliver four. when no signs of contractions for 3 hours, decided the vet was needed, as the deleiveries had been long drawn out. We ended up with another pup after a jab, which was dead.
