can anyone reccomend what to give apup to chew when they are teething,also is normal for them to go off their food a little?

It's normal for them to go off their food when teething, it can hurt them to chew with sore gums. If you use dry food you might want to soak it so it is softer and easier on the gums.

When my Cairn was teething I would break up hard biscuits for her - now she is a pest because she still wants them broken and will deposit any piece she deems to be too big in my lap to be broken smaller.

I don't think you need to give a pup anything special to chew during teething. Even my pup's soft rubber squeaky toys would often get bloody when she was teething and she liked to gnaw on her bones.

Get a nylor bone/ring (sorry about the spelling) - then wrap it in a freezer bag and freeze for a little while. Give it to the pup and it may help cool those sore gums.
