We have a Golden Retriever pup just coming up to 6 months of age and intend having her spayed on our vets advice that this would be beneficial to her health in the long run.However there are so many conflicting theories on what stage to have it done ie before her first season or not has anyone had any practical experience of this.Any thoughts would be appreciated.
