is it normal for a bitch in heat to be sick and have an upset tummy she has messed in the house which is something she would not dream of doing usally, she is sleeping alot but has a wet healthy nose and is eating nomally this is her first season. hope someone can be of help.

Yes it can some times be that way please keep her away from all male dogs/ dont take her out where you might meet other dogs/ dont leave her in your garden on her own for about 3 weeks.

all bitches act differntly , while mine was on heat she tore the fur from her breast bone same patch every season:(, the vet said mabe her nippels were itchy but it was just cuz she was on heat,
