We have what seems to be a short haired malamute....she was bred in Queensland, Australia and does not seem to have the "mane" around her neck as others do. Her look is identical to others though, all except her coat. She is wolf grey with a black saddle.
We have mated her with a giant black malamute and are hoping for beautiful puppies.
She was sick (vomiting) after her fourth day into what we hope is the pregnancy and she seemed to be depressed for about a week. Other than that, there is no other sign of pregnancy. Is there any way of know early?? OPther than taking her to the vet of course.
We have had such joy from our Cheyenne and it really doesn't matter if she is pregnant or not but our children would like to know and frankly so would we, so we can get things in order for her.
What should I be feeding her - anything extra?
She is eating Supercoat and that seems to be keeping her coat nice. We have tried cheaper varieties but her coat became dull and broke off where we had a tick collar on her, now she doesn't have any think hair around her neck at all! Well almost none.
Thanks a million.
