hi, i have a 9 week old puppy lab, she has a couple of white marks on her lip, when i took her to the vet today for her first injectins, i asked him what they were, the vet said they might be little scars, from when all the puppys were together, biting and playing. but they could be skin mites, he didnt think that this was a problem, and said if they were still there when she goes back for her next injection in 3 weeks, he will take a scraping of them, if they are mites will they spread in those 3 weeks.

Hiya
First of all if you are worried just take you puppy back to the vet and insist on skin scrapes.
If its deermadectic mange (mites) its not catching. It is something to do with their immune system.
If it the other type it is... not sure off hand what thats called- Im sure somone will be along soon to tell you :)
There's no way of telling unless your pup has a skin scrape
