Does anyones dog do this, I've noticed Toesy does it quite a lot. Sometimes it just looks like he's licking and biting his whole foot, and other times it really looks like he's biting his nails.
Is this normal, or could they be a problem.

lol funny you should mention this my mums dog dose this all the time and has done it since she was a pup,she is now 4yrs old and i think its more habit now tho:)

Taz always does this now 9 1/2 years old. One paw has nails real short from him biting them. He also does this to his dewclaw, I was worried he was gonna pull it off but no he just enjoys biting his nails :D

My mother in laws bull mastif does this quite often, they took her to the vet and was told she was allergic to something (can't remember what now) so it may be worth taking a trip to the vet.
