Hi Everyone, I have a Patterdale Terrier, puppy (she's now 4 1/2 months old).Due to me taking her to training classes and the fact that I've delt with Terriers before , she isn't the problem, it's actually my friend! She decided to buy her sister after seeing just how adorable my little one is. However, she knows very little about training dogs and is now having problems. She already has a Boxer, who is pretty disobedient without the stubben-ness of a terrier! Unfortunately, the pup is now starting to growl at her daughter, due to my friend ignoring this for a while the situation is getting worse. The pup has never bitten and I'm sure that if my friend tries she would be able to break this habbit. However, she won't listen to me and is now going to resell the puppy! I'm extremely worried that this puppy will end up moving from home to home as at only 4 months old this will be the 4th home that she will have had! If you have any info that I could give my friend then I would be very grateful.
Thanks

Hi,

Contact the breeder quick and tell them!!!!! The breeder (if they are a good and responsible breeder) will want to get involved and may even offer to take the puppy back so it can be retrained and rehomed carefully.

Unfortunately, both puppies had worms, fleas and mites when we first bought them, so I don't think that the breeder is very responsible anyway!

If your friend wont listen to you she may not listen to suggestions here either. In the situation you describe it's maybe in the pups best interests to be carefully rehomed and you could help her with that if you don't have much faith in the breeder.
