how mush does i test cost.
i am only asking as i was told about 20 pounds by a few people but then my b.friends, friend said that is would cost about 80 pounds, well that is one hell of a difference i know all vets can charge different prices but that is a lot. :D

The BVA charge for eye testing is on a sliding scale, the more dogs are tested the cheaper it gets. The cheapest rate is 25 dogs and over. People who organise testing sessions can lump all the dogs at the session together and get them done at the cheapest rate. My sessions are less than £15 per dog. The trouble with using sessions at a surgery is that you would be charged the single dog fee and have to pay the surgery overheads and possibly a consultation fee on top. Even so I would have thought £40 should cover it easily.

i recently paid £38 at Blackwood for my muttleys eye test

and i beleive that he does testing all week

thanks very for the info , we have an appiontment in blackwood on friday. some of the testing centres i tried were booked up until end of oct, luckly the one closest to us had a space, stupidly i phoned them after everybody else. thanks again
