i've noticed my now 8 week old boxer pup has started to show signs of aggressiveness towards me, she has started biting harder and growling and sometimes barking :(. Is a obidience class the best choice as of now?.

Also, my pup has been afraid to lead on her leash now, she was doing it a week before now shes afraid to step outside =\

Have you got a copy of "The Perfect Puppy" by Gwen Bailey? You will find this a very easy-to-read guide to raising a puppy.

When did your Boxer complete her course of injections?

By injections do you mean distemper/other shots?

she had them last week on her first vet appointment.

It's usually a course of 2 injections, 2 weeks apart, and the pup is safe from disease about 10 days after the 2nd shot.

Are you trying to say my pup has a disease?!

Not necessarily, but if she hasn't had her 2nd injection, and that hasn't had time to build her immunity, she is at serious risk.

I would suggest joining a good puppy class after your pup has had her injections - and meanwhile, take her out in yiour arms to socialise her, but don't put her on the floor.

From your post it is hard to tell what is happening, but it's not unusual for owners to feel that exciteable pups are aggressive when they are in fact just being over excited and cheeky. Of course, they do need to be taught what is expected of them. I do agree with JG, get "The Perfect Puppy" as this will help a lot, and get pup enrolled in a course now as they can get very booked up :)
