my west pup (4 months)has got a green fracture in his paw can anyone tell me what it means and is it seriuous?

When my daughter had a green stick fracture it was in her wrist and it was one of the small soft bones,she was put in plaster but it healed with no problems, some expert will be along but I hope this reasures you.

Green stick means - like breaking a new branch - that it bends rather than snapping in two. Green stick is very common in young animals/humans and isn't as serious (I believe) as a clean break in an adult :)

Hi,
Daisy is right, the bone isnt broken all the way through. One side will splinter while the other bends as the bones are more pliable in young mammals.
