We have been told to continue feeding our neo puppy on Autarky puppy complete , and although he seems to like it , i am not convinced this is good for him.

We feed our other dogs on fresh minced chicken and mixer with scrambled eggs , and they love it and seem to do well on it. They also have fish occasionaly.
I feel really bad putting bowls of fresh meat and mixer down for the rest , then giving him complete food , as complete food is something i have never fed my dogs on , they have always had fresh meat.

So your views would be very much appreciated.

Hi Helen i use Autarky as well as tripe/mixer my bullmastiff look good on it and my bulldogs and my Cane- Corsos it really is up to you if you feed all the other dogs on raw then feed the neapolitan on it as well it will not do any harm to the dog do as you think best.

My dogs have done better on Autarky than on any other dried complete food. But I agree, use your common sense - there is no harm in using a bit of both! Dogs don't come with instruction manuals that must be followed to the letter!

I use Autarky but mix a little minced chicken,tripe,tuna or tinned butchers tripe.Don't think the dogs care but it makes mr feel better!!!
