hi we have a 14 month old st bernard we have always wanted one and took one off of a lady who could not look after him any more but he is skinny around the middle section of his body please help how can we build him up and what ideally should we feed him on cost no problem thanks

Either a high quality LARGE breed complete food or the BARF diet (search for BARF on the site here and you can get a load of info)

Please be very careful as saints tummies blow up very quickly take it slow give three small meal aday for a month or so then down to two and they have to be fed two meals aday for the rest of its life not one big meal, i had saints along time ago great dogs. i would feed tripe and biscuit meal with something like SA37vits.
