Taz has gone off tinned and dried food.
have never given him tripe. Have been told it will make him stockier, and has all vitimins needed without mix.
Is this true?
Wot type is best? Where do i get it? How do i prepare it?

If you do a search on tripe here on the Forum there are loads of threads about the stuff :D :D

i dont think it has all the nutrients they need by itself,but i have heard that it bulks them up,i would love to try it with my dogs but i cant get it here in Australia,it is illegal to sell it here, we only have the bleached white stuff fit for human consumption,go for the green tripe,wonder if i can find a tripe black market,LOL.

Perhaps you should try asking your local butcher or slaughterman for freebies rather than offering to buy?
I know some 'travellers' in England that keep working lurchers who get pigs heads and fresh raw tripe as a freebie from a local, 'understanding' butcher. Giving it away for free saves him the job of disposing of it by other means and is therefore mutually beneficial.
After all, what harm can a flat refusal do?
