sardines or pilchards are a great source of Omega 3s and great for dogs. I would not give them in oil though, try brine or at a pinch tomato sauce.

I disagree ..I wouldnt give the ones in brine as I believe too much salt isn't good. I always feed either pilchards or sardines in either oil or tomato. If you have a Lidls near to you , they have cheap tins of sardines in both oil and tomato :)

Just rinse off the brine under the tap.

sardines or pilchards in tomato sauce are the best.
the problem with tomato sauce is that suki is white so there would be a bit of a mess,is it ok to give every day though?

Hudson has 1 sardine and a bit of the juice in with his meal every evening :)

IMO there is no problem in giving a small tin of sardine in oil once a day. Would think you are feeding at least 2 meals so split the tin between them.
iam feeding 3 meals a day,but i was giving her the can in 1 meal,i will split it into the 3 meals and see how she goes ,thanks everyone for the advice.
