Topic Dog Boards / Health / Joint Problems

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone has ideas how best to look after my GSDs joints, as in he has had some cartlidge (spelling?) problems, and may be a bit of OSD. I was wondering if there is anything i can give him to ensure his hips etc dont give him to much grief, like a dose of oil or fish, some sort of remedy....He is 2 1/2, and the vet seems happy with they way he is, but when he lies down he is in allsorts of postions as well as the normal dog thing where they take up all the bed/sofa etc :-) (makes me laugh really, he takes all of the bed up and then hangs his tounge out to take up more room !) He just seems to lie funny sometimes...

Thks for your replys in advance...
