Please Help if you can.
Our Golden retriever "Amber" (9yr. old female) has began to show signs of difficulty when rising up after a sleep or short rest, she seems to be very stiff at the top of her hips, I suspect this is a result of years of swimining in rivers & the sea (she loves this).

1. Is she in pain ?
2. Is there anthing we can do to help her ?
3. Are magnetic or copper collars of any use ?
4. If so which & where can I buy one ?

She is a much loved member of our family & we worry about her.

Hi Guest,
you could try giving your girl Glucosamine(tablets or the liquid is better), our golden is approaching her 14th birthday, and is not looking too bad :) she has glucosamine daily.

Good luck with Amber

Hi , I had a G Ret , he had trouble occasionally with his limbs , as it was only at a minor stage the Dorwest Herbs actually made a significant change to his movement before it was full blown arthritis . Try the Mixed Vegetables and Garlic supplements , there quite inexpensive and you should see a difference if it is only minor stiffness symptoms . You can find them on the web or contact your local vet for their number. Hope this helps
