I own a 6 month old giant schnauzer. As I do not intend to show him I have chose to have him clipped as opposed to hand stripping.
I collected Max today from the groomers and was half angry and half upset to see what a mess of him she had made. I intend to attempt to have a go at clipping him myself next time as I'm sure I can't do much worse than the groomer.

Can any body reccomend a good book, video or site which illustrates the grooming process and also which clippers and blade No's I should purchase OR alternatively a groomer in the midlands who knows what she is doing.
