im wondering if any 1 can give me any advice i,v been searching for a staff puppy for a while now so i thought i would vist a local dogs home to my amazement there was 8 weeks old staff pup but it wasnt up for rehoming has it was having treatment so i ask a member of staff and they told me it had been ill treated and i should contact the manager i did and he told me they thought it had ringworm now i have been told it may have mange the thing is every time i ring this place the staff are not very helpful and i really want to give this dog a good home and willing to pay any vet bill i cant reserve the dog has they wont let you do that so i dont know what to do next
so any advice would be wecome

Hello, you may find that if you wish to rehome a staffy from a rescue centre that you will need some sort of reference eg from a vet first. This is designed to prevent the bull breeds falling into the wrong hands for dog fighting etc. Have you tried Staffordshire Rescue?

why dont you try and make appointment to see the manager, and talk things through with him, dogs do go into the wrong hands, thats why this poor little 8 week old pup is where it is today.Best of luck, let us no how you get on.
