My best friend grew up with a long haired rottweiler, he was a beatiful and sweet dog. I know that they are considered not to be pedigree type dogs, but I don'y care because I get dogs as loving pets, not purebred champions. Does anyone know of a litter of rotties that may have a long haired puppy. I am very interested in getting one. Long haired Rottweilers are a genetic throw back, supposedly from the Bernese Mountain dog. They are not desired, and most responsible breeders will hope they NEVER produce one. I board one, they have it clipped to look like a correct coated one!
