Can someone plaese advise...over the last few days our ESS bitch who is in her first season at 7 months is showing noticeable signs of her skin going bright pink especially around her mouth and her tummy also you can see it thru her fur, it now and again goes way but then comes back brighter than before...this is causing her no noticeable dicomfort ie: scratching.....please advise.

How long ago was the season, or is she in season at the moment?

Could it be her teats getting bigger after her season and itching, some bitches will have a false pregnancy after a season and this can happen.

Have you changed anything in her diet, washing powder or cleaners?

Hi
I have a Bichon who has been diagnosed with having diet sensitivity, she can't have beef or any dairy products. If she does her skin goes bright pink and she can't stop scratching. This is common also with dogs that have white fur??, white breed is your dog???

May be worth sticking to food such as chicken and not beef

Hope that helps
