Please try and find a member of the UKRCB or an APDT member with interest in behaviour - there are so many reasons for agression (including pain and fear) that giving advice on the 'net would be irresponsible.

Firstly get in touch with the breeder and see if they can help.
Secondly get in touch with a behaviourist, your vet will have details.
Thirdly there is no place for an aggressive dog, especially a Dobermann, if he really is that bad, then having him PTS would be a real option if the choice was mine.
Dawn.
It's interesting that he bites some members of your family and not others, but of course that could be due to all sorts of things including how often he is involved with those members.
I do think from what you have said, you need very real hands on help and this can't come from the net. If you get in touch with your vet he will test your Dobe, do blood tests etc and something may come up. A medical problem can often be the cause of aggression, even when the dog is selective in who he bites.
The vet should then be able to refer you to hopefully a "hands on" sort of behaviourist who can assess your Dobe and take it from there. Lots of luck - let us know how you get on?

well he bite all the people that feed and walk him which is really stange isnt it?my mum and youngest sister who he never bite dont feed or walk him or rarely do.What will the blood test do?
The blood test will check out all sorts that can't be seen by the vet - for example it may suggest a thyroid problem :)

Have you been in touch with his breeder - they may be able to advise?
What part of the country are you in - I know of dobe trainers in some areas who I could put you in touch with - contact me privately.

Hi,
You need help as any dog who is aggrressive needs to be helped. The dog is obviously not happy either. You must contact Kerioak (Christine) She will definitely be able to help as she is a Dobe breeder herself and she is well informed on all Dobe matters.
