Our family has four small children (under 10) and we are looking for a labrador puppy for December. We live in London, we are looking for any coloured dog. Can anyone help? please mail any answers to turtons@blueyonder.co.uk Thank you.

i agree haveing a puppy is better in the summer you can leave the door open so your pupy can pick up on toilet training quicker and you dont have to stand out side in the cold and wet trying to make them go to the loo:) but if you dead set on having a pup 4 x-mas try looking on the kennel club .co.uk type it in to google and it should come there a section that gives you a list of number for breeder in your area i think it was i the section "thinking of getting a puppy" with a cartton dog have a look and tell us how u get on

I agree with Madmum, December is not a good time to get a pup, they need lots of time and attention, they also can do without all the fuss, noise and with four children, excitement that comes with Xmas. Enjoy your festive season, then when things quieten down, get your pup and the time to enjoy him/her :)

I've had 3 puppies in the November to January period and YES, It's damn cold standing about outside at 3 oclock in the morning with nothing on waiting for them to perform!!! ;)

 John! But think of the benefits to your circulation - to say nothing of the entertainment value for the neighbours!

My neighbours have got use to me by now although she did ask me what I was doing fishing something out of the goldfish pond a 4am one day! (I was off for a dawn duck flight and was finding some water plants for one of the guns!)

John

PS. I do find a glass of malt helps with the nocturnal ramblings ;)
