The best place to start looking for a puppy from a reputable breeder would be to contact the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain and/or The Weimaraner Association (both on the web) the two national clubs for the breed. Breeders who belong to these clubs have to adhere to a code of ethics which include not having more than 3 litters from a bitch, assist in rehoming any puppies that bounce, provide diet sheets and support etc. They recommend though do not DEMAND that stud dog owners and breeders hip score their bitches. If you are looking for a puppy please ensure that both parents have been hip scored and ask to see the certificates. The mean score for Weimaraners is 13. Both the clubs have puppy lists.
