I'm taking my 6 month old pup to the handling class on Tuesday.
Is there anyone here that goes. It would be nice to meet a few Champdoggers.
Any help, tips and lots of encouragement needed
Michelle.

Michelle
let me know how it goes .
Just remember everyone was new at one time . Dont get worried if he doesnt behave or doesnt want to walk. I'm sure everytone will be really nice.
And dont forget to take along some treats for Toesy;)

Hi Lel
I've been to the handling class tonight, Toesy did really well. My father-in-law went with me, as he used to go a few years ago, and knew a few people, so that made it easier for me. Funnily enough one of the ladies that my F-in-L knew, had a 7 month old dog there who ended up being Toesy's brother (same father). Also Toesy's fathers brothers son was there (if you understand that) So there was 3 red dogs all quite similar. Toesy was slightly smaller, but also slightly younger. Anyway I learnt a lot and everyone was really friendly. I was proud of Toesy, after he calmed down he stood and walked very well, he even let the judge move his feet into position, and look at his teeth, he got loads of treats so I'm sure he'll want to go again. In fact I can't wait till next week myself. If he does as well as he did tonight at the show in 3 1/2 weeks I can't grumble.

Hi Karen.
It's an open show at Hurworth, a small village near Darlington. It's a Terrier show, there isn't a Staffie puppy class so he'll be with a mixture of terriers. It's on Sunday 28th Sept.
It,s just for some experience really for both of us, but should be fun. I hope I don't back out at the last minute though.
