I have just been into town to collect the bits of chicken left over from the butchers. He has agreed to keep all the bits for me, and chucks them in the freezer.

I have come away with a humungous bag (probably 5Kg) with thighs, wings, 1/4 carcasses, all with loads of meat on and a load of lamb bones.

And thats just this weeks.

Anyone near Taunton want some chicken??

I keep asking my butcher for knuckle/shin bones and he looks at me as ig I've gone mad! he vuts up his own carcasses as well and sometime I can get a load of chicken carcasses but that's about it

my brother a butcher and what he dose for me he mince the meat and the bones down and mixed them togther.this way i know the dogs will not choke on the larger bones.
