Just been reading posts on non breed excepted colours.
In my own breed the Schnauzer Both the Standard and the Giant only come in Pepper and Salt and black where the Min also has Black and silver.
There are now Whites coming into the breed mins only so far! in Germany they are allowed Iv now found a site in America for Choc Parti and Toy Min Schnauzer going on Weight rather then size. These pups are being advertised has AKC reg was informed there was Fox terriers put in them to give them the Parti pattern!!! If this is true how come they are AKC Reg?
So the point im trying to get over in all breeds there are Colours that are non-breed acceptable dare I say RARE? and looking at this its seems that its the money makers that seem to be breeding these colours asking high prices for the more rarer colours.
EG White GSDs,White boxers,White Schnauzers,Blue GSDs,Black and Tan Russian Blacks
There are always the odd colours and even coat come up in litters if they come up should they be in the breed standard ??
