Hello, I have an 11 week old staffordshire bull terrier and she has developed a wonky ear. It sticks up more than it should because it folds in on itself where it should be folding out. My question(s) is can this be sorted, will it sort itself and should I be doing anything to sort it (or will me rubbing it into the correct position have an adverse affect)?
thanks

Leave it alone, Staffs ears go everywhere and anywhere then get worse :) at teething time :D Don't panic there's nothing you can do and anyhow what's an ear??????
If her parents ears were okay there is a good chance her's will be fine in the long run.

Thanks for the reply. I was kind of more worried about the risk of infection if the ear remained perminently folded the wrong way. Thankfully it seems to be slowly correcting itself.

Hi,
Pleased to h "ear" it's going the right way. But believe me they go everywhere when they are pups.

Sometimes this happens with bull type breeds. More common among APBTs. Our Jude had an ear like this and it stayed like that. I thought it gave her character. My male ISBT had this when he was younger. As his head grew and tightened the loose skin around it it sorted itself out.

Hi
My Dobe pup of has a wonky ear and as the others said, it's probably teething time. Lola's ears go all over the place and she looks like JaJa Binks at the moment. Every time she stops teething, they go back to normal :D
