Can anybody advise on pet insurance? There seem to be so many companies offering insurance but the type of cover and price varies a lot from one company to another. I have heard that a few of the insurers are cheaper at first, then the policy jumps in price as your dog gets older and they start to exclude cover for things like arthritis. Others only allow you to claim so much for one particular illness, then any further claims are excluded. Can anybody let me know of their experiences with insurance companies and advise which ones provide a good level of cover for a fair price and settle claims quickly (not that I'm hoping I'll have to claim!)?
