My 4 yr old has asked me what the bit that sticks up between the ears of a giraffe is called, does anyone know, or will I be forced to open a book?! :D

I heard it called a "Massa", which is latin for lump, but don't quote me on it the person who told me is a keeper at the local seal sanctuary and she said the lump on a sealions head is called a "Massa" same as the lump on a Giraffes head.
