I have a 7 year old Golden retreiver dog who since I moved house 4 months ago has taken to soiling (including wetting) on the living room carpet. This sometimes happens during the day when I am not there and sometimes during the night when I am sleeping. He does not try to waken me to let me know he needs out, which he used to do in my last house. I am at my wits end having consulted the vet and a trainee animal psychologist who have not really come up with any answers as they were sure he would stop when he was settled. Can anyone help me.
