The bitch will be in season for about 21 days, so you will have to keep them separate all the time to be on the safe side.

Need to keep them apart till day 24 from the start of bleeding, she will be receptive from about day 10 or 11 but I would not risk it till them as some are ready very early. Can you pop her into kennels or may be your boy, to make things easier.

Glad you're managing so far - well done, it's not easy! Just a reminder that when her owners get back is about her most fertile time, so don't relax your guard!
