One of my dogs lower canine teeth has snapped off at the gum, I rang my breeder staight away who said not to worry as it is a baby tooth and she's not in any pain. What I am concerned about is will she lose this tooth as normal by chewing things or will it have to be removed so the new tooth can grow?

it should fall out as normal, broken or not, it should be pushed out by the second teeth.:)

Thankyou very stressed pup owner breathing huge sigh of relief. Since getting her 9 weeks ago we have found out she has an umbilical hernia, shes had cistitus, a limp and the broken tooth. I dont think I have ever been so worried or been to the vets so often even though I have other dogs.
