my 10 month old bullmastiff has not eaten properly for 1 week,he just picks at the odd bit of chicken his best friend our 4 year old staffie died last thursdayand i know he misses him but i am getting worried i dont know if the vet could do anything does any one have any advice debb.

Hi debb how is your bitch has she had her pups yet? take him for a check up just to be on the safe side, but i would think he is upset about his friend not being around any more, let us know how many pups she has ,whose dog did you use? and what breed is your bitch from.

hi ya lola had 9 puppys 8 girls 1 dog sadly 2 were born dead,but we have 7 beatiful little bungles.this has been the worst and best week ever,ithought my heart was braking in two when dylan died,[our staffy] then i was over the moon when lola had the puppys and all looked well,then it was sadness again when the 2 little girls were dead,and now to top it all im worried sick about randel.[my big bully] dogs a carnt live with ee carnt live with out them... debb.

This is my dogs fav recipie...perhaps it is worth a try? So sorry to hear about your staff :(

Turkey Gobblers

1 cup ground turkey
2 cups white flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 egg
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
¾ cup water
2 teaspoons tarragon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a frying pan, cook ground turkey, crumble into small pieces and set aside on white paper towels to drain. Combine flour and cornmeal in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, beat egg, oil and water, and tarragon. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and stir well. Fold in ground turkey until well blended.Drop dough on a lightly floured surface and roll until ½ inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Place individual shapes on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until firm. Cool and serve. Refrigerate unused portion.
