I was wondering if anyone can help me.I know all dogs have an odour, what i would call a doggie smell, but my 3 and a half year old staffie has a strange smell to her,she always has done,it kinda smells like really stinky trainers! It's definately a weird smell not doggie like my other staffie and it also develops very quickly,if i bath her one day then a couple of days later the smell is back,if i don't bath her every couple of months the smell gets so strong it smells the house out! Is there anything that i could use to reduce the smell and the amount of times i have to bath her as she's not a big fan of baths anyway. Thanks, any suggestions will be greatly recieved.:)

What do you feed her on out of interest - might be worth looking at her diet - she may be reacting to something she is eating, like some people do .

I was prescribed something by my vet for when our Rhodesian Ridgeback took to rolling in fox scent it was called 'Hexocil'.

She used to be on Pedigree Advance Sensitive but then a few months back was changed to Bakers Light as she needs to keep her weight in check after her leg operation, but the smell is still there.
