Could some one give me the benifits to keeping ur dog/bitch intact.

I know the benifits to altering them, but since I have been on here and read all kinds of things there isn't much of a benifet except of course no unwanted litters, heats, urges of males. I know some animals if fixed have trouble controlling their urine, because this has happened to my friends bitch.

I'm on another forum and this has turned into a real debate and yes altering does outway because of everything u get told by ur vet besides the obvious. I would just like some facts to write on there or maybe a site that will tell u or something that there is a benefit to not altering them. I do think if the owner isn't responsible or doesn't want to deal with the normal dog/bitch thing then yes alter.

Maybe I'm just confusing my self ... :(

The trouble is , asking for peoples views will mean that you get just that ;)

People will ALL have differing views and you will probably end up being as confused as ever....some people will be for and some against ...each person will be convinced that they are right and others are wrong :D

Dollface, if you do a search you will find lots of posts on the subject. It always seems to generate a lot of views.
