Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Doggy Smell!
- By SHARON [gb] Date 20.08.03 12:06 UTC
Hi, my Staffie is now on day 58 and no signs of whelping. She is very smelly (doggy smell) I think because of extra sweating with the warm weather. I wondered if it would be safe to bathe her and if so would normal dog shampoos be ok? If not is there a dry shampoo that anyone knows of? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

hello sharon,

its been ages since your post and no one replied.
i cant help as i dont own a bitch and have never bred. although i cant see how a bath would hurt her.
i bet its too late now though. have you had the pups?
