I seem to recall from the main dog magazines that there are aromatherapy like fragrances/natural remedies for animals. I can`t for the life of me find the magazine with it in or remember its name. I`m looking to get the one that releases a soothing fragrance which is used to calm a dog down. Ie I wanted to stash it in my dog first aid box and use it if my dog ever hurts itself and needs calming. My pup has a tendency to run into things and gets himself all worked up so I thought it would be useful.

Can anyone remember the manufacturers name and where I could get it?

Dont know about the publication but you can use normal aromatherapy oils on your dogs. Lavendar is used commonly for calming and can also be used neat on unbroken skin for things such as burns or inflamation. Tea tree is a good antiseptic - might be worth including that in your kit too. You can get any of these oils from places like Boots other stockist but be careful that youre buying pure oils - The Body Shop sell aromatherapy oils but theyre expensive AND theyre diluted!
