as theres different threads going i decided to thank you all on my very own one :) -ive only been home about 1 hour, clapped out but over the moon ------thanks for all your nice comments, casey is the first shar-pei to win best in show at an all breed champ show, -also the first bitch to win a champion stake at a champ show, so thanks for all your support----ziggar, i wasnt lying when i told you what some of the exhibitors are like!!!!!!! pleased you saw it first hand, - wasnt just you that noticed, !!!!!!!!! tantrums etc, the judge was a bit gobsmacked too, he also had one exhibitor on asking the age of her bitch reply---20? months and a cc!!!!!! well it takes all sorts i suppose, gave us a laugh anyhow, amazing what some folk can make up, ==we won a fabulous welsh dragon for best in show, patsy ann made it and its valued at £500, its fabulous, i was chewed driving over the lumps and bumps of the welsh hills, but it made it home in one bit. ---so weve had a fabulous day, also a great one for the breed !!!!!!!!, i will get to go to sleep soon .

im getting lots of flowers and cards, its really nice and makes it a bit more special, many are previous judges, some from the breed. but lots from folk i had no idea liked her as much, :D
its certainly sinking in now, the phones not stopped ringing either, caseys hasnt a clue :rolleyes: shes outside tearing around the garden with her mother :)

just got in from skc---i had so many genuine folk up congratrulating me, it was lovley----------we got bob today, no cc's, but got a group 3 under replacement judge zena thorn andrews. :D

im still over the moon mattie---this bitch has won all sorts no other shar-pei has achieved, shes such an ambassador for the breed,having seen pictures of youngsters sitting in pet homes from the repeat breeding ive decided to repeat it yet again, it seems to click well, so fingers crossed,
although casey will take some getting past !!!!!!

dont tell gareth ;) do sharpei generally get on with other dogs of other breeds ? are they easy to live with?

theyre normally ok, if you stand around the breed ring youll not see much agro from them, and of course some kennels have better temperaments than others, but on the whole the breeds lovley to live with, theyre non demanding in the house, mine are very quiet too-fanatically clean, an very affectionate. ---but im biased :rolleyes:

You know I loved Casey when you showed me the pics.....and hopefully I'll get to mee you and her at Crufts. (None of mine are qualified...too new to this showing business, but a lot of friends are going...looks like I'll be there everyday..what a hard life!!)
