ahh, good idea, didn't think of that..! Not done this b4 so a bit green really. Isn't it better to find a dog not related though? Again I'm probably 'barking' up the wrong tree...

Hi James,
Actually, it's better if the dog and bitch are distantly related. Otherwise it's all a complete mish-mash and your longed-for litter is likely to be distinctly mediocre.....

Do speak to your bitches breeder, they will know the lines she carries and the lines that the sire should have. They will also be able to advise on health tests and what heridity problems to look out for, which are recessive, dominant or polygenic. They will also hold your hand and be on the end of the phone when day 64 comes.
