The GSD that my Dad had as a child- you know when you have a dog that really is something else, very special- well she sounds like she was:) But then of course I wouldn't change or swap my Kassie for the world- she is a huge part of my world- she laughs with me, cries with me, cuddles the kids when they fall (and tries to clean their wounds:o)- she is my best friend and never lets me down, that bitch was made for me!:)

I would never swop Sal for any dog I've owned and when I had them I'd never of swopped them for any other dog either.

The Pembroke Corgi I grew up with :D He was a great character and a superb looker, they don't make them like that these days - literally, the nearest I've seen to his old fashoined type is the Swedish Valhund. Apologies to the Corgi folk :)

I'd like my old collie X, Toby back. He died a couple of weeks ago, and I miss him, and his funny little ways terribly......but other than that, I'll stick with my gang! They're the best, stupidest, most friendly dogs I know!!

Oh, and also....this is not for me, but my friend lost her beautiful Shar-pei a few years ago, and she still cries about her now....I'd love her to have her Dezzie girl back.

Take care

If I exclude my own past dogs then it would be Follytower Browthorn - Labrador Retriever. I own 2 breeds so have to include the WHWT bitch Famecheck Joyous. Sorry its two but I couldn't split them!

I would like to go back in time and take a peek at what the original Staffies from say the 1930s were like - just to compare them . ;)

I'd love an Alaunt or Gelert.:)

Sorry to be sad and soppy. I have had some great dogs in my time, and i know history has several, but I think the two I have now I wouldn't trade for the world - and I will be devastated when I lose them. The only other dog would be a daschie I shared with a very good friend and whom I had to leave behind when I moved from Canada to UK.
